It says there are competitive game modes, but that's dumb.  I don't want competitive game modes, I want to fight the enemy open-world, taking territory and that nonsense.

You mean this part: "Compete for supremacy in various multiplayer game types."? Because I fail to see any mention that there will be no "fight the enemy open-world, taking territory and that nonsense." . We don't know how really game will be played at this point, gotta wait for Beta or more videos.

EDIT: And I've got Janekk. I hate when its taken because I have to spend hours thinking about different nick.

I never said there would be.  I was commenting on the apparent lack of it.  Come on man, reading comprehension.

For me it looks more like "humans vs bugs" game (mostly PvE) with special events of different mercs fighting for "fame" points or something like that. That's how WoW-based games work, and if we didn't see two factions from the start, I doubt there would be a chance for an open-world PvP. Also maybe they will allow someone to play "bugs" in a gimpy way, as we had "mordor" in LOTRO. I don't really know, that was really badly-executed.

I won't say anything for sure though yet.

Considering that their payment model is wonky at best, I wouldn't expect much from the game in terms of content. Sure, weapons, maps and game modes will all be accounted for of course, but beyond that, I doubt they're going to make a 2.000 square mile open world for you guys to roam in.

Lack of mention =! it won't be in. Its first trailer. We don't know what will be in game. They might as well dose info to have something new and interesting for next videos.

Still it will be better than Borderlands' labyrinths :). I don't plan to give my life to it, I will probably play it for some time to kill my time, and it should be enough if it's beautiful and offers some interesting activities.

Perhaps, but we won't know until devs say so or we have finished product to see for ourselves. At this point it's just guessing. I'm waiting for more material on game.

EDIT: Actually since I'm registered on forum I can ask if there will be faction based territory grabbing.
