I am not saying it doesn't happen or that there is no middle ground.

Just saying it doesn't happen enough.
I was just listing one game that, in my opinion, got it right.

In the future, armor will be invisible shields and so of course women have no need to wear clothing (and all the women in the future are totally hot) so I expect to see my women running around naked, thanks.

My prediction is that armor in the future will actually be bulkier as we will have exoskeletons.
Things tend to get sleeker and smaller, not more bulky, as time goes on. Even the exoskeletons we have right now aren't all that bulky. I saw an article on an army exoskeletal system which lets them carry large equipment loads and it's pretty small.

Found it: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/09/08/hulc_dsei/

Is it still an "exoskeleton" if you put something over it?

"The actual exoskeleton is covered by a layer of armor and holographic exoskeleton to disguise the armor..."
That is the first thing I thought of after reading this.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Hmm, the story in the singleplayer parts is being written by renowned jackass and homophobe Orson Scott Card. At least I can have piece of mind playing this game for free knowing he won't get money from me.

Legitimate homophobe or "political speak" homophobe?

He writes essays on why homosexuals should have /no/ rights much less more. And means them.

That's a good trait to have when you're writing a post-apoc game.
