TBH I don't care if it was human or computer written. It's still highly amusing.

Actually, the individual paragraphs and dialogue strings were written by bots, and then the best selections were pulled out and compiled. He explains it all in the blog.

Humans have incredible difficulty creating things with just that degree of random, while bots have a much easier time of things, oddly enough. It's the one type of humor they can do well.

Of course it's made way better by collaboration, like all Human or AI endeavors.

it wasn't written by a bot, it was written by markov strings. people just picked the best stuff and put it together in a narrative.
