It's also a really terrible comparison. Guns don't have a mind of their own. They can't just walk out on their own and do dumb shit unsupervised like a cat can.

I'm not convinced the military drones aren't just letting themselves out of their hangars to fly off and blow something up at random, resulting in the government having to scramble a cover story about "tactical strikes" against "covert military targets".

Really, it's just drones getting loose and causing mischief because they're assholes.
