Object Testing Arena: Arrows?

Has anyone found out a way to give dwarfs arrows in the Object Testing Arena? There are no quivers and if you give them more than one bolt they drop the rest and completely ignore them.Is there any way for me to give them a bunch of arrows that they will use?
