I may point out that i never suggested crap as a crafting material.

True. This however, is Dwarf Fortress. If it's a material, and it's in the game, then someone will build either a heaven-splitting tower, clothing, or a death trap out of it.

because that's not the dwarven way. Could you make more statues of Urist instead of an impossibly large one chiseled out of the mountain? Sure, you could. If you want to be called a ninny elf by all your friends.

The title certainly did.

You should probably read the OP before you make judgements on a thread, rather than basing all replies solely on the title.

If it was in the game...

I'd drown Elves in it.

If it was in the game...

I'd drown Elves in it.

And that be the sole reason many people (including me) would not want it in the game. Euch.

So drowning an elf in poop is worse than horribly butchering all of your migrants that don't have any skills? And is poopsmithing worse that having a mother use a baby as a shield?

Wait, does this mean that some creatures will spawn a 1/7 poop on death? Or more for larger creatures?

Because in certain situations, that could actually get very dangerous for the still-living.

Killing megabeasts will never be the same.

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"
