Intro done, heres some stuff about it.
This is mostly the opposite of my other game (WIZARD!), where he starts off low-powered and amnesiac, unless you guys pick the weak starters first.
Its also going way into the fantasy-future to be more interesting. You guys can pick to start in the near present, when the Internet exists (pretty boring, since we all know what that is), some time in the future where its been renamed the Outernet (to encompass the multiple worlds your creator's empire now holds), or WAY in the future as an Omeganet Prototype (everything has been sucked into a digital blackhole [except the equipment keeping the universe running] and you are one of the attempts at controlling parts of that hardware from within, among other things {its Omega for a reason} ). Heres the questions:

Pros for the United Planets:
Democratic, so what one day is illegal might be legal the next.
Well-Funded.
Consistant Updates to Self. (free security and bug-fixing)

Cons:
Well-Known.
Constricted by Ye Olde Much Amended Constitution.
At War with Other Empire.


Pros for the Other Empire:
Better Defended.
Less Strict.
Not as Consistent updates, but better ones.

Cons:
Extremely Difficult to go rogue without dieing and restarting as a fresh copy.
Records Everything.
At War with U.P.


Pros to Starting Rogue:
Absolute Freedom
knowledge of the Black market/Undernet
Open-Source (after you're de-obfuscated) Rapid Updating (faster and more than U.P, but more time spent updating)

Cons:
Wanted By either side (or possibly both)
Debatable Loyalty of comrades.
Could be taken out by malicious hacker (related to both other cons)
