This is just a brainfart using the combat tools in my text adventure, but hey, we're dealing with something pretty expandable.

The combat system itself is pretty simple- you roll a dice, your opponent rolls a dice and if yours is higher, you get to make an effect roll to deal damage or something else. You can only attack with things in your SPECIBUS, and certain cards have Effect Modifiers (Eg. Rose's unpowered needles won't grant you any kind of booster, but the magic ones may grant you a +4!)

To make things even more Fun, I'll even throw in an Echeladder and an Ability Tree. Instead of having ones set in stone, you give me a topic and I come up with an entire tree.

Would anyone be interested in doing something like this?
