The law doesn't protect you and so it is better to act within accordance to the ruling power's interest whether it follows the law or not.

In other news! :O I seem to have stumbled upon a different kind of house spider: Those that aren't the 'stay in place and react rather impulsive when booped in the slightest' kind. It has somewhat short hindlegs, and somewhat visible hairs on the part of the leg nearer to the body. When it moves, it raises its foremost two legs, and seems quite ponderous in its movements. Also it's not actually bigger than my palm this time \o/

Really wondering where there's an encyclopedia of spiders or stuff <_< These critters are nice to see!

There's a few encyclopedias for spiders, anywhere that teaches insectology/arachnology should have one. That spider sounds like a web-spinner, they tend to be fairly slow and ponderous when not on their webs.
