Oh also, I love bees.
I actually do though, painful immunization shots aside.  I like honey despite avoiding sweets, and I love hive insects.  I hate that the bees are dying.

Ants are my favorite, but bees are so much smarter.  They can't leave pheromones through the air, so they *dance* to communicate.  I had almost forgotten that. 
Family visit led to me having an enthusiastic talk about bees and ants with an otherwise-stranger.  That was happy and WTF, heh.  Even my dad shut the heck up and listened.

She invited me to meet her daughter, but... well :P  I'm glad we met, anyway.

Honey's supposedly relatively okay for diabetics...  Uh, somehow.  Something about difficulty of digestion, I still don't get it.  Fortunately I've dodged diabetes, so far, despite almost everyone in my near family getting it.  I basically spurn sugar and only get honey through Ariziona Green Tea Zero.  Which tastes like honey, but lists 0 calories on the label.

I'm maybe exceptionally futurist.  I accept chems if it means I avoid too much simple sugar.
And OMGs I love off-brand names.  "Cheese flavored puffs" - stick "soy" and "nutri" in there, and I'd be in cyber-heaven.  The future really is now, though, thunder...

as somebody who actually read twilight i can say there are worse books.

its toungue in cheek about itself.  if you keep in mind its a teen girl and basically a well written fanfic its okay

Twilight is a competently crafted YA romance novel. It just happens that "YA romance novel" is a very unpopular genre outside of the target market, meaning that it got massive derision when it became a media sensation.

Not sure why you're calling it "basically a well written fanfic", as it isn't directly based on anything.

It's still an interesting story in the same way as Interview With A Vampire.  Fascinating, but mostly due to the sheer horror.

Jealousy is a natural response, but it's also wrong, sitch is fucked up.
Much like 50 Shades of Grey.  It maybe looks like an interesting take on BDSM, and maybe it's hot, but it's actually incredibly fucked up and awful by any real-life BDSM standard.

the book interview with lestate was good.

a little gay for my tastes, but it is anne rice were talking about.

the characters were interesting enough, and frankly new vampire lestate was better than punk rocker lestate.

according to the book he wandered by a garage band and wanted to play.
