My phone is making unexplained boop sounds that it hasn't been making before.

Also I think I may have given my computer gremlins. I couple of weeks ago I accidentally spilled tea on my laptop keyboard and the next day there was a little bubble on my screen half. Then there was two. Then three. Then five. Now there's a whole line of bubbles there. Gremlins bubbles. Grumbles.

I am up to 10 bubbles now.

10.

Ah ah hah

Bubbles are meant to be popped while running whimsically through the backyard. My 2yr old has taught me this.

SO, my new recommendation is to run about in the woods flinging your phone into the air while swatting at it with a screwdriver.
And Dunny proves he has the best advice once again!

No no no.
You gotta put the device in one of those beef jerky making machines. All the liquid will be dehydrated away and you'll be left with a tasty nutritional snack full of rare earth minerals

As second opinions go, this one is rather... dry.

Yes, liquids tend to be attracted to each other, placing the device in liquid should make the bubbles go to the liquid. Diffusion ho!

Just make the bubbles larger by putting it in a vaccuum chamber.

I seem to have lost my wallet. The only place it could be is back at work so I'm not too terribly worried, I'm just baffled that I managed to walk out without the damn thing and not notice it, like, besides that I only carry my phone and keys with me, missing a third (and a chunky one at that) of my kit should've been more noticeable tbh :I

Advice: Simply solve for X, where X is a variation of violently flinging things about while batting at your problems with a screwdriver.

I have a homework due tomorrow. I made about half yesterday, intending to finish today.
This homework is many charts in Calc. When I opened it today, I found out that the page with the charts froze LibreOffice. Other pages would work, but this one would always freeze. I tried converting from .ods to .xls and .xlsx, but neither worked helped. I tried installing OpenOffice and opening the .xls with it, but it froze on trying to even open it.

Then, as a last ditch effort, I updated LibreOffice to 6.3.2. I put the original .ods file to open... and it opened on the offending page without a freeze.
Then I looked at the top bar. It was OpenOffice.

Huh, why would OpenOffice run something but LibreOffice wouldn't? They run on the same code base, I thought, just that OpenOffice is older.

Probably some special formatting that was either deprecated or added in different versions.

Both true, Doomblade. Hence the WTF.
The hypotesis I came up with is that OO is simpler. The reason for the freeze is likely the 16 charts on that page, each of which is using at least 1446 rows of data, the one that uses the most uses 42007 lines.
It is just 2 values per line, but that is still a lot of lines. The LO probably tries some trickery with displaying the graphs, which makes it take the longer the more values a graph has.

The funny thing is, it was created and saved in the same LO Calc that fails to draw it.

Why is everyone so upset at the idea of people watching stuff at 1.5 speed?
Also, while I'm at it, why is it only 1.25 and 1.5 speed? Is 2.0 speed somehow harder to implement than 1.25 and 1.5 speed?

I wa unaware people were upset by this, it’s not like they are forcing you to watch at a higher speed, just giving the option to those who choose to do so
