Unless heating the banana ruins the adhesive properties while in batter form, microwaving the banana will turn it into banana flavored slime in just a few seconds, which should alleviate the "Lumpy" problem.

Worth a test.

Substitute the milk with a suitable vegan alternative, like soy or almond.

Eh, the mix was just a boxed thing. Be more effort and equipment than I have access to to get the milk out of it to replace

And melting is an idea. Next time (and there will be a next time, outside of user error these things are like my perfect brownie) I'll probably just blend the banana instead of mashing it up, though.

E: Anyway, it's now later and everyone that's tried them (a sample size somewhere around 10-12, I think) have said they liked 'em, even people that didn't know at the time of mentioning that I was the one that baked them. I think I can safely say google's answer of Banana was a good one for the question of what to do when baking brownies with insufficient egg.

Of course, it remains to be seen how well it would go using banana with no egg, but I'm still interested to try. If I just end up with a big pile of banana-flavoured brownie mix, well, that's a good enough outcome too.

You know, those fruit companies are(were) absolute monsters.  As much as people protest the idea of capitalism I never see anyone really bring the abhorrent things done in central america up.
