So basically US is the son that almost suck dry the family for keep doing its expensive hobbie (lets say GW figurines for not saying crack cocaine) despite being told not to, and then it leaves the house forever in a tantrum...

Shame on you!

Oh that's scary, it's hard to imagine a peaceful situation that requires 4 combat helicopters to fly like that.  :(
I think the colonies rebelled because the people on the isles kept using 'irregardless' as if it were a real word.
So does irregardless mean regarded? Or has regard?
That's an inflammable topic.  Or maybe flammable?
Oh, so it means the same thing as regardless? If I am to understand your is metaphor the right word? Or does analogy better fit what this is?

I think it's a metaphor (because of the word "is") and an analogy (because of the one-to-one correspondence between figurative and real-life elements.)

I always thought it meant the opposite of "regardless". Which would be "with regard".
About the topic itself, it depends. Does it easily get swollen from infection or disease, or does it easily light on fire?

Four heavily armed Apache helicopters just flew over my neighborhood at maybe 100m height.
WTF, Dutch air force is not allowed to fly over urban areas.
I've got an airport and an RAF airbase near my place. Occasionally I get to see cool shit like a few weeks ago when 24 jets flew overhead trailing RWB smoke, or a crap ton of chinooks and helicopters flying in formation to go deal with some flooding or storm crisis management

A more contemporary example would be in how the European Union is also yet to resolve this contradiction, despite having virtual representation of each nation's constituents. The moment there is a financial crisis or political crisis and nations have divergent interests, the project falters and infighting commences

Some days it feels like this whole "United States" project also gets close to these issues.

I live in the DC metropolitan area, so got to see several military aircraft fly over on Saturday for what I assume were July 4th celebrations. I think all the ones I recognized were big ol' bombers, which does make things feel a bit odd especially given Trump's outward feelings towards DCers.

They even flew one of the super-expensive B2 stealth bombers... I recall hearing those need high-end maintenance after each flight, so I hope it was worth it?

As to my own moment of bafflement today, seeing the U.S. stock markets while reading the news on COVID and the economy. I'm not sure what is worse: optimism based on recovery hopes, cynicism based on Federal Reserve interventions, or selfishness based on pumping and dumping when things go (further) south.

Dutch police discovered a hangar with 6 built in prison cells and a torture chamber in the village Wouwse Plantage.  They managed to break EncroChat's encryption a while ago, and found out a criminal organisation was planning abductions and torture.  They even had 'arrest teams' and 'observation teams', police uniforms, police vans, roadblock signs, weapons and bulletproof vests stored for the operation in sea containers in Rotterdam.

The cells and torture room were lined with soundproof materials as well as heat-detection shielding materials.
The torture cell featured a modified dentist chair and a bag with various torture tools, from hedgecutters to scalpels to fingercuffs.
The holding cells featured a chemical toilet and handcuffs anchored to the floor and ceiling, to secure prisoners in an standing position.

Next time I see the police arrest someone I will need to call the police to make sure they are the police.

Sounds like the tactics of the Toy-Box Killer here in the states, who had a similar setup in a sound-proof truck trailer. Ended up being linked to deaths of roughly 60 or so women

Except these were not serial killers looking for women but drug dealers looking to rip off or extract information from their competitors.

For stock market movements you have to also keep in mind that people aren't just betting on the companies, they're betting on what they think other people will do in response to the news. So vew few people are actually thinking "what difference will this news have to the company's bottom line?" they are thinking "what difference will this news cause to the market". But, everyone is thinking the same thing and they're making trades based on those predictions, and the resultant shifts in the market are somewhat ironically aggregate effects of everyone making the same predictions.

So if there's a ray of optimism then some people will buy the stocks because they think other people will buy the stocks and then they can cash out later. Whether or not they think the company is actually going to do well is not a major consideration. It has about the same level of connection to the actual value of the stocks as toilet paper hoarding has to the long term supply stability of toilet paper. In both cases, stock surges and toilet paper hoarding, people are acting because they're making predictions about how other people willl respond to events, and those actions become a self-fulfilling prophecy, and thus the original determination "this stock is about to rise because of this news" or "there won't be any toilet paper on the shelves in response to this news" both turn out to be true statements.
