I've seen a chicken sneeze which was pretty amazing, for some reason I've never stared into their asshole as they pooped, though.   
Guess I'm just weird like that.   


Edit: oh! The wtfery going on in here made me forget the actual reason I came to the thread this early in the morning. A friend of mine took to Facebook to post an image of a bizarre "anti-masker" (that's the catch-all term for people resisting/disagreeing with COVID precautions, right?) t-shirt, with an accompanying caption describing supporters of the whole lockdown business as sociopaths.   
Sociopaths was in quotation marks, though, so maybe this is a joke or at least somehow ironic.   

The dude does live in Melbourne, though, where the COVID restrictions are probably most extreme in the whole country, so I guess I can see how it might cause a bit of an impassioned response. Still... a bit cooked, to say the least.

If you're unfortunate enough to be behind them and looking in their general direction when they go it's extremely obvious, especially if the chicken has dark feathers like our current ones do. The cloaca extrudes partway out past the fuzzy feathers around their thighs to minimize soiling themselves, and it's obviously a bright fleshy colour. It happens pretty fast, like a marine worm extruding it's mouth, throwing up and then retracting.

Pretty much.    
The one I saw do it ended up with her head spun right around from the force of the sneeze, though, so she was looking over her own shoulder with this surprised expression for a moment afterwards. I'm not sure if that video captures quite the same level of comedy... I think the sneeze sound was more of an off-key BAWK/honk combo, too.

Almost all of the chickens we ever had were bantams, though, so perhaps it was less obvious since they were closer to the ground. Come to think of it I believe they were mostly breeds with fairly long feathers, too. It's been several years since then, though, so maybe I have repressed memories on the subject.
