So, normally, whenever I have a day off from work, I tend to find something out of place on the day I get back.
It's not usually too big of an issue, normally someone forgetting to do something they're supposed to do, or somebody misplaced something.
You know, trivial stuff.

So I got back to work today, after a nearly week-long vacation, and what do I find?

There are no more shelves attached to the walls.
...
The shelves that we use to hang our coats on are just plain gone, and there are holes in the wall from where they were attached.

...I don't even.

Nah, the shelves got tired of not being paid salary to shelf for mastah, so they left. They decided not to leave a note because it's not like humans can read Shelvish anyways.

But really, I went in, and went into the back room, and thought "Huh, something seems different", and then I noticed that all the shelves were completely missing, and I just thought "Wat?"

I thought about asking what happened to them, then decided that I probably didn't want to know.
