Oh hey KOSS, could you remind me to get a V for Vendetta mask and posting a photo of it in the happy thread because I can't be worse than you?

Why not put it somewhere you couldn't reach it?
It is worse than this, if I have a direct line across my bedroom, I can get up, turn it off, and flop back in bed without waking up. I have to make sure I have to navigate to my alarm. Also, the plug can't be accessible easily or I'll just unplug it and go back to bed. Also, also. I'll completely turn it off, even if it has a massive snooze button.
They have alarm clocks that play music from CDs or whatnot.  Nothing wakes you up quicker than obnoxious music.
Why obnoxious music? Why not rousing music? Why not music that makes you want to grab a rifle and go kill some Nazis?

Or, to alter that train of thought, set up a system that shoots your in the foot at at whatever time you want to get up.
You're not falling asleep easily after that...

Or, indeed, walking, but necessary sacrifices and all that.

If you're going that far, just have it use caffeine/stimulant darts instead of bullets.

I'd suggest this on the same subject. It starts with Levitan's speech on Nazi attack upon USSR in a most soviet voice you ever heard and then goes The Sacred War - the most anti-Nazi song ever composed, if you ask me.

Oh yes, The Sacred War - one of the most underappreciated songs ever.

How comes it underappreciated? I mean, do you feel like it is underappreciated in Europe? Or I'm just not getting your sarcasm?

On an unrelated note:

Daft Punk's Get Lucky, performed by Russian Police Choir

I feel like it belongs here.

The former. It is virtually unknown around here.

Well, I'd presume it scared the hell out of folks, completed with soviet army marching across the Europe :D.

Maybe it's just me, but it is one most moving song I ever heard in my entire life. Even without lyrics, it still sounds powerful.
It has no mentions of communism or socialism, actually, it is just full with hatred towards Nazis and calls for unity to fight enemy back.

In one of my classes today, someone I hadn't met before sat next to me. He generally ignored me, and would, every few minutes, utter a few choice profanities for the first half of class. At one point I noticed him staring at me. Very strange. ???

At this point I'm pretty sure that I wake up fully, walk over, turn it off, and go back to sleep without me remembering it, because, as far as I'm aware, sleepwalking-turning-off-my-alarm me has all the knowledge of awake me, and I can't really think of a better explanation.
Literal description of sleepwalking as an explanation for sleepwalking?
