It's not as much as getting a team of automatic doctors, it's more like killing the computer and reviving it.
And people call me mad when I say that murder is a solution.

The problem is that you can't revive dead people.

But we do! Fairly regularly, even.

Admittedly, not very long dead, but so long as they're still quite fresh we do a not-entirely-terrible job of bringing the poor bastards back, brain damage and whatnot be damned.

Slight correction: Dr. Kellogg's brother Will actually founded Kellogg Cereal, after the two had a falling out. Yes, the cereal formulas were mostly his brother's but now with 90% less crazy!

They were both Seventh-Day Adventists (which has a lot of obsession with diet and strict moralism), but where John Kellogg started a non-profit to promote eugenics and racial segregation, his brother founded two colleges (Cal Poly Pomona and Kellogg College, Oxford). Much hoopier frood than his bro.

My personal WTF: I took about a 90-minute nap earlier in the evening, then woke up and without really processing what I was doing or why, proceeded to drive to the store and buy Funyuns, Cheerwine, pickled sausages and some Taco Bell.

The only logical explanation is that while I was asleep, I got stoned *and* pregnant.

Wait wouldn't an actual furry hater like that?  What with the likely mauling and eating and all, I would think such people would completely approve of such behavior.

I woke up this morning, got to the shower, and came out. After drying myself off with a towel, everything was fine. Then I got dressed and came to this laptop of mine.

Twenty minutes later I notice that my arm is wet, I look at it, and there's blood. I pay it no mind until finally my brain stopped and said "Wait... Blood shouldn't be there..."

Upon further inspection, there is a six inch cut on my upper forearm. Somehow, in between me getting dressed and me sitting down I managed to get a six inch cut on my forearm, and I didn't notice. How?

The basis of defibrillation is 'turn it off and back on again'.

I thought the basis of defibrillation was 'here, THAT'S how you do that, silly heart'.

Defibrillation is basically just like restarting the computer, except that it's heartbeat rhythm rather than computer RAM.
Heartbeat RAM?
