Then.... wouldnt it make more sense for steam to send you a private message, saying you have a voucher you can send to another steam user, so they can get the coupon?

In my opinion, D:OS 2 improved pretty much everything from the first one. The only thing which is weaker than the first one is crafting, since the hand-crafted weapons and armor were nerfed. Fixable with a mod, though.

DoS2 is comparable in quality to Neverwinter Nights 2. It is (nearly) flawless.
