Went to a job interview.
I know I just got a new one, but they called me with one I was too interested not to go to.

Its above my current level, but below it in terms of quality.  IDK, do I go after the technically better but probably lower-quality job or stick to the higher quality workplace with the lower title?
Depends on what you want more I guess.

You know, supposedly DuckDuckGo does not track anything you do, nor use targeted ads.
If so, how do they make money?

Non-targeted advertising is a thing, and indeed used to be the standard. They might use keywords from your search for a here-and-now targeted ad, but won't store that data for later use. They also have some affiliate deals with Amazon etc. that earn them a cut when a customer buys something they found using the search engine.

For those of you who don't know, I've been working in an op-shop for some time now. Plenty of WTFs occur over various shenanigans that take place, be it the oddball customers or the weird and sometimes terrible items we get donated. But this post isn't about those.

Yesterday I bought a bed (well, I paid for it the day before, but a friend with a ute helped me deliver it yesterday) from the shop, along with a mattress (actually how cheap the whole lot ended up being is a WTF in itself - just 40 bucks!), and after assembling it and acquiring a cheap-but-new bedsheet last night I finally decided to give it a whirl. It was long before my bedtime but it was pretty damn cold.
Unsurprisingly, my tired arse quickly fell asleep, despite leaving my light on to read by, and I slept for probably a good eight hours or more.

Here, though, is the WTF: most of those hours seemed to be spent dreaming about working in the same place I bought it from. Complete with, as far as I can remember, all the usual trials and tribulations involved. I feel like I've put in a whole damn shift! ^~^;

Tl;dr: bought a bed from the op-shop at which I work, slept on it and dreamt pretty much a whole shift of work.

...I just woke up, so am being super rambly, hence the tl;dr.

In a tangentially related vibe, I've had an avocado milkshake before. It was... actually really good.
Actually? Actually?
That sounds goddamn delicious.

Edit: this still beats sleeping on the floor tho.

Generally, I tend to associate avocado with savory/salty dishes like... Well, guacamole. But a sweet avocado milkshake actually has this strangely nutty flavor that pairs with the sweetness and the avocado's general fattiness very well.

Also it was a Vietnamese milkshake, so boba. And that's always fun.

Thai restaurant cheated me on spice, gave me mild instead. Bastards.

Theyre becoming midwesterners. They will soon cease to use any forms of spices or seasoning and literally just serve steamed sadness and oven baked disappointment.

I only remember their appetizers.
And the one time my high school teacher's lactos-intolerant friend sent her burger back, and got it back covered in scraped-off cheese.  But that was uh over a decade ago, so maybe I should stop telling that story.

The one near my dad recently closed, but they made a killer decent, AFAIK Long Island Iced Tea.  RIP, that locally owned franchise.
