... wet paint can be pretty fun to play with, though? I can't tell if that's supposed to be bad or not.

Kinda what happens when your primary social arena is a bar, I suppose...

WET PAINT. DO NOT TOUCH.

Getting too close may be hazardous to brain function.

Most fun you can have is watching it dry!

The woman ranted a bit about how men don't decorate, they should really decorate more... She used to know a guy who was really into beer, and he had like this shelf that was full of empty bottles and cans of beer that he'd tasted. That's just terrible. There wasn't anything in the bottles! No plants or pencils or anything! It really stressed her out.

Like, guys will only have some stuff for video games, and sometimes even movies! Who uses DVDs and BluRay anymore? Nobody has DVD players or that kind of stuff anymore. Do you have any DVDs?

Marie Kondo, have you watched much of Marie Kondo? Marie Kondo really changed her life. Now she's got so many boxes. She's also trying to get rid of any physical media and stuff like movies and books. Except maybe books. Books are kinda okay, because they're pretty.

On a Sunday afternoon?

You mean the dead guy?

If you mean either of the two living ones, they're not nearly drunk enough to handle a stranger talking to them.

Well my store sells something that is apparently chicken flavored crackers and a lot of cereal these days may as well just be tiny bits of thin crackers so I guess it makes sense?

Goodled and I assume yer talking about the chicken and waffles cereal, they are also making a bacon and doughnuts cereal.  At least bacon is something you typically have for breakfast, the closest thing to chicken anyone I know of has for breakfast came out of a chicken's cloaca.

Chicken and Waffles is apparently a popular breakfast in the US South, in addition to being an abomination before both God and Man.

Maybe other parts of the US south? I've never really ran into it outside of this cereal or meals I've made myself (mind you, mildly syrup'd chicken between waffles or pancakes makes a damn good sandwich). Most of the folks I've met seem to actively dislike chicken (well, beyond eggs) for breakfast. Bacon, ham, or sausage is more or less 'the' breakfast meats.

Like, you could probably get it in most restaurants that do breakfast but popular is the exact opposite of what I'd call the combination.

Take that the fuck back. And then have some fried chicken with waffles.

Down at the bottom of the ocean. Beneath tons of brine which would crush you down. Not into broken and splintered flesh, but into thin soup. Into just more of the sea water. Where things live that aren't so different from you, but you will never live to touch them and they will never live to touch you.

One of the dogs pissed all over the kitchen floor because he couldn't wait two seconds for me open the door for him. Spent a good 20 minutes trying to mop that up while keeping from throwing up from the smell, the closest approximation of which would be someone leaving a can of Vienna sausages in the sun for a few hours then ramming them up your nose.

Stepdad's response? Turns around and closes his door, not his problem, leaving me to clean up the mess his dog made.

That sounds like the a sick or abused dog. It shouldn't stink nearly that bad, and the dog should have better control than that.

Old and sick. He should have been put down months ago, but my stepdad decided to put down a different, healthier dog because he heard him having a painful bowel movement and figure "welp, that's too much for him, better put him down".
