Tried to do some laundry, but the street leading up to the laundromat was cordoned off in a several blocks-wide area by police. There was a protest-turned-riot in that area last night, which would explain it.

They usually track gold bars with elemental imperfections, so they know where the gold came from. Match the amount missing from that location with the amount/location being sold...

So, you're telling me that when I steal gold bars, all I have to do to clean them is to steal gold bars from two radically different places, melt them, combine them, then reform them into a new set of ingots?

Man, this just solved so many of my gold theft issues. I was worried they had more iphones hidden in those ingots.

My own wtf, I saw a long post about George Floyd being a porn actor, also several things in the arrest video that didnt made sense like the badges being diferent of that police department but rather only similar like a custome would be, the patrol plate not having a number but the letters spelling the word POLICE, and the guys from the ambulance being dressed as yet another police department instead as paramedics, among other things like the police in question being another actor of the non pornografic kind?

Now, the WTF comes from, really? Wtf is going on? Maybe the images on that post are the ones edited to make it all seem fake? I didnt saw the original video because I dont really like see people dying horribly. Either way is really fucked up. Also I dont know if the guy is a porn actor for real or if the police plates in the states are supposed to have numers or the word police (however logic dictate numbers, but it could be different from one place to another I guess?) so even if the images I saw on the conspiparanoid post are real I would not know.

That sounds like your average run of the mill far right conspiracy theory.  The new Alt-Right likes to pretend stuff doesn´t happen. Like when they said the children dead in a school shooting were fake.

I dont know where you saw that post, but it´s so outrageously absurd that it shouldn´t require to be looked at twice.

That being said, if you´re still unconvinced, the fastest way to verify the claims would be to look at the video....

Well a simple google of the arrest video shows that the word POLICE is on the door of the car, but there's a patrol car number 320 on the front fender. EDIT: in the actual video, i couldn't make out the license plate, but on the back of the car the patrol car number 320 also clearly appears. EDIT2, yep the plates say POLICE in the close-ups. However the patrol car number was clearly visible from much farther away so any who missed that did it on purpose as misinformation/propaganda. Post probably done by some kinda stormfront/Nazi fucker.

Also: a bit of common sense indicates that the patrol car number does not appear on the license plates. *

EDIT3 - to clarify why this is so ... license plates are issued at a state-level whereas police cruiser numbers are issued at the city and county level. So if your local police cruiser 001 had plates of "POL001" then only one town or county could have that plate, and there would be a hard cap of 1000 police vehicles per state, but actually less since they'd have to issue plate ranges to each city and county police department so significantly less than the 1000 could be in operation at any time. Hence it would be really stupid to do things this way. It's just a dumb idea to expect the local police's cruiser number to appear on the plates.

Basic muddying of the waters they do. If the murdered person was an "undesirable" of some sort then that apparently excuses their random murder. Same thing happened with Trayvon Martin.

Imagine if they did that the other way around? some white girl was murdered by a black man then they dug into her past and said "did you know ... she was once caught shoplifting" along with a bunch of stuff to cast the murder as not a big deal. It's probably related to the Just World Fallacy. When bad things happen to people some people like to believe they're bad people, because then they can rationalized that bad things only happen to bad people. Makes them feel more safe themselves.

Logicaly, police cars should use regular licence plates, registered to the police. It surprises me that Mineapolis police uses POLICE instead.
If someone stole their car, it would be difficult to automaticaly detect it, because they can't search by licence plate now that they are all the same.
