Weight unit standardization

After a bit of confusion regarding the weights of wood and metal, I took the liberty of converting wood into g/cm^3 (what metal is measured in), before realizing that I still hadn't accounted for other objects... like stone, for instance.
Cut a long story short, I'd like it if all densities in the DFWiki were given in the same units, and I don't care what those units are.
The game data stores data in kg/m^3.  If we use that, we can just throw data from the raws onto a template and be done with it.  It's also the standard SI measurement, and ergo the one most reference sources use.
However, g/cm^3 is a more intuitive measure; light objects would have "realistic" looking weights instead of impressive-seeming numbers like 500 (wood).
(For reference, 1 g/cm^3 = 1000 kg/m^3.)

I think it depends on the reference point-if we measure most weights in kg, its should be kg/m^3. However, one must also take into account the numbers-if all of the numbers end up being in the thousands, it would probably make more sense to use g/cm^3 to keep the numbers smaller.

I'd favor whichever units are used in the raws, or direct combinations thereof if they aren't (e.g. if kg/m^3 is used in the raws, or if kg and m are, then use kg/m^3).

We American scientists use the SI just like everyone else; for the lay populace, hey, maybe DF can incentivize the transition to metric?
