The civilian is 4 screens away down an alley, the entrance of which is flanked by two cars.

In the “Madman Rampage” missions, dogs can spawn.

These dogs are similar to the dogs the player can train and deploy.

This means they can attack.

Madmen, while they can be armed with grenade launchers, are not especially well armored.

The madman died to the dog. I got a “Good” rating, but I still feel like something is off about such a victory...

We were fighting off an NCR invasion from the Long 15 into the lands I as the Mojave Chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel had liberated from raiders. When the NCR launched their attack I was invited into the Brotherhood of Steel faction. The NCR troops outnumbered the BoS and so my strategy was to push outward from the Long 15 after kicking the NCR back down it with their tails between their legs, then fall back to the chokepoint that is the Long 15 itself. Ten divisions of Brotherhood Knights battered down wave after wave of NCR trooper.

Then the Western Brotherhood that ran the faction got overrun and surrendered, and everything got annexed.

Defence got buffed quite a bit in the last patch? Officers Purged is a really nasty debuff? I can think of a bunch of reasons why.

I just didn't realize defense had gotten buffed to that extent. I was already rid of officers purged.

What kind of divisions were you using? Artillery got nerfed and the AI is much better about building its own divisions now. Without proper tank divisions or discount space marines it is almost impossible to push without massive loses.

Figured out how to exploit more items from the town stores in OREGON TRAIL II.

This means I left town with absolutely nothing but 1800lb of bacon, around 100 gallons of hard liquor, and 9 guns with 120 boxes of ammunition.

We left in the middle of February and forgot warm clothing. So the solution to people starting to freeze was to "Feed them warm food" aka more bacon aka The Only Food.

We made it to Nebraska.
