A group of midgets wearing clown noses surrounded me with cattle prods. Was too stunned/hurt to have time to pull out my colt .45.

Starting up simulator - Bird of Prey (me) against USS Enterprise.

I pummel it nicely because that kind of ship lacks aft torpedoes, so I just sit behind it and first cripple it's warp drive, and then impulse engines. It turns to face me, ha, for the last view of the victory? Well then I will destroy your saucer fir-*TORPEDO x20*
Apparently a glitch in the game made the Enterprise reload it's torpedo launchers instantly. I didn't manage to run away before constant stream of torpedoes blasted me to pieces.

OK, attempt two.

This time, I was in the middle of crippling the impulse engines when I suddenly noticed that the Enterprise's warp engine suddenly went from 20 points to 0. I made emergency stop just to make the overloading warp core show up right into my face. *WARP CORE BOOM*

Attempt three, dammit.

This time, when I was making a circle around it whilst cloaked, the Enterprise suddenly went full speed, slammed against me and propelled me right into gas giant. Before I could get outta there, the gases and friction turned my ship to dust.

Apparently someone on board of Enterprise must've been writing a book '101 ways to destroy a Klingon warship.'

Fuck you Enterprise.

This game really wants me to hate it, it seems.

What's that? Dwarves have high defensive ratings and are rarely injured? 3 deaths in the first story mission, which the apothecary fails to prevent.
What? Roll a +2 to make a two-square pass? Pass and catch fail miserably AFTER a re-roll.
Wow, these ent-like things are awesome! They're my one hope against these ogres! ...Trees suddenly grow roots and remain immobile for the rest of the game.

Got shotgunned to death by a cultist. Note to self: Wait until said cultist is in melee range to attack safely, instead going all Leeroy on it and failing horribly.

I was fighting another clan, when I quickly realized that, while still having to defeat them, I couldn't fight them.
It was okay for them to stab me, though, as long as they were poisoning me. Proceeded to ragequit.

So. Another two takes on USS Enterprise.

Details: Per usual, I was making 'assault and hide behind' attacks, with cloak for protection. When I was preparing for final strike, getting behind the damn cruiser, it suddenly reversed speed from 1000km/s to -200km/s. I wasn't fast enough with brakes.
The other time, we were playing 'cat and mouse' at the edge of asteroid belt. Same as above, but this time I managed to turn to the right - and faceplant an asteroid that was big enough to not let me strafe it in any direction.

KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRK!!!
