Jumped by Bikers. Was doing great, alone. Had a nice little basement all my own, was on the way to having over a few days worth of food stockpiled. Weapons, ammo, you name it.

And then a biker gang is right there on zone in. "Hey Guy Carter!" Thwack!

Kinda sucks you can be running around with guns for a long time before you ever get any skill with them. One would think giving a biker a face full of shotgun would be lethal.

I was creeping through the sand towards some nazi soldiers guarding a half-buried tank while my friend was shooting at it from another direction to keep them occupied when I decided I could probably kill them all in one hit with a grenade. I somehow threw it at my own legs, got up and started sprinting away when the tank turned towards me and blasted me into oblivion.

As I was being rocketed in to find a control chip the rocket I was in spazzed out and flew off the map.

Cortex Command's AI killed me. Stupid god-damn worthless "snipers" didn't see the human with the big grenade launcher busting a hole through the bunker.

If I recall, I misjudged a jump onto a tree, missed, and lost the the last few hearts I had on impact.

Fuck, I took that seriously.

Anyway, I got jumped by a gang of bikers. My northern barricade got smashed, so I thought some zeds were coming in. Preparing for my last stand I took all the shit I could and waitedi n the center of the room. 20 turns later bikers bust through the western door and I try to run for it but to no avail.
