So. I was playing Fallout 3, and I had just crafted a Railway Rifle, and was running around the wasteland giggling like a fool as I pinned various living things to various non-living things. I came across an old campground, and noticed a Deathclaw wandering around in the middle of it. I was a fair distance away, and I was on top of a hill, so I took a few shots at its head with that whole V.A.T.S. targeting system. I missed, and the Deathclaw sailed away into the sky for some odd reason. I figured "Eh, it's gone, and even if it comes back down, it'll be dead because impact". Boy, was I ever wrong. As I was rummaging through an old trailer for stuff to load my Rock-It Launcher with (All I have to say is Rock-It Launcer + Deathclaw hand = rocket-propelled bitch slap), when something attacked me from behind. I turned around to fight back, and it was that Deathclaw from before. I promptly died.

Because, in Fallout, an orbital nuclear bombardment would be redundant.

I died because a huge amount of swarming tiny rats somehow robbed all of my HP. And I was soloing Ultimate difficulty too.

Ugh.

Went through Rydia's/Luca's Challenge dungeon with medium trouble.

Then this goblin guy was all 'Lol'. He proceeded to fully heal and buff himself and then kill me to death.

But I have an excellent plan for next time, which involves making his abilities useless.

A bot with a MP40. Medium range. Single bullet in the head, while both of us were moving and it didn't even use the iron sights. I swear, the bots cheat (sometimes, other times they're complete idiots). It's even worse with MGs.

Why did it have to be frogs?!
Seriously, frogs are the only enemies that you can't learn the pattern off. You have to see what he is doing and move out of the way before having a heart taken away. All the enemies do the same thing, every time.

On topic, Necrons are really tough to beat. Either the computer is better at using them then the other races, the Necrons have a strong early game, or they are overpowered.

Basic Necron warriors are free, hard-hitting, and can take a beating and get back up again. So I'd say they have a strong early game. Nice and slow and short-ranged though.
