Fell into what I'm pretty sure was a tar pit next to a volcano. Or maybe it was the lava in the caldera of the volcano? Either way, I discovered there's a floor down there, and further discovered there's an overhang, or maybe a full tunnel, if you head to the deepest point and then move right. Unfortunately, the entire screen is pure-black down there, so I had no way to know if I was moving... and apparently I became stuck, unable to move or tell if I was moving.

RIP ~15 coins, give or take.

Try the game, they said. it'll be fun, they said.

- Launched in superhuman ironman because.
- First base named 'Aaaaargh!'
- First OSU, triton is dispatched.
- Team lands and deploys.
- Suddenly, grenade, 3 dead.
- Sniper perfect shots on the others.
- The last guy had to be the 10 bravery one, he ran in circle.
- Mission aborted.
- One week later, retaliation on the base.

One of the tutorial missions for combat puts me in a battle against an equally skilled and dangerous opponent.  I end up getting very used to hearing "EJECT!EJECT!EJEC-"*BOOM*.  Lesson learned from the tutorial: don't get in even fights.  Good thing I bought it for the trading, because my reaction times are awful and I somehow manage to make an agile little fighter wallow like a stuck pig in January molasses.  Seriously; I have no idea how people even turn on a turntable, much less a dime.

Got ganged up on in a tournament. Went to reload the save, accidentally clicked on Save & Exit instead.

Why would a game designer put two boss battles of such varying difficulty back-to-back? One uses physical attacks and is pretty lightweight, while the other is ridiculously tanky and uses magic attacks. It's just cruel.

Roll up to mokou, full party, full strength, maximum level to get extra goodies from the fight, near as I can tell fairly well optimized. Probably ~10 minutes of straight combat later, half my team (six folks! Six! Out of twelve!) is either straight up dead or brutalized to the point they're effectively dead, but my critters manage to knock off her last sliver of health.

Cue the goddamn thing resurrecting, getting about three turns of damage worth of HP back, and then blowing up my entire front line (i.e. 4 of the remaining 6) for ~2-3x their max health, causing a complete wipe.

This. Goddamn. Game.

Use your secondary :3 It's much better if silenced. From experience (since I use a cloak + silenced weapon combination as my playstyle...or pure PSG [my save is primarily only that sniper weapon + secondary weapons for the full game >_> on the highest difficulty <_<], the secondary weapons--when totally out of any primary weapon ammunition, can save you. Even if all you've got is your nanosuit and that.
Cloaking is your friend! As well as tiny shrubs and plantlife!

I mismanaged speed and velocity and accidentally ran myself into a tree at full speed while mounted.
I didn't get thrown off and anything...it's just that I can only act like such in a battle, and another guy hit me.
With a lance.
Instant knock out.

I hate when that happens. I've found that bum rushing everyone you see and abandoning defense to go for dodging the first attack or getting your attack in first to kill them quickly is the only reliable way to win those things. You have to kill them so quickly that they don't have the time to group up on you.
