Raising Armor Skill?

I'm trying to wear armor but it's not working out. I'm assuming because my armor skill isn't high enough, how do I raise it?

In the old versions, armor skill only increased if you got hit.  In the 31.17/31.18 it seems to go up anytime an attack misses you- even if it's from dodging/blocking/parrying.  Still checking things out there.

HOWEVER, your armor skill shouldn't affect what you can where at all, only how much your speed is penalized for wearing armor.  If you can't wear something, it's probably the wrong size, or you're having problems with layering it correctly.

You can only wear armor that isn't titled as small or big and you should press r to remove armour/shirt you already have to replace it with new armor.
