Vertical resolution for lists, menu's, etc

I have a question/problem. I'm wondering how to make the menus in the game utilize the full vertical resolution of my screen. The actual game area is full screen, but menus like unit list, items, etc only go down about 1/3rd of the screen.

Is this possible?

use a non square tileset, or that new thingie baughn came up with, with the true type fonts

Enabling true type fonts doesn't seem to make a difference.

I'm looking for something that will change the menu's so they allow say, 60 lines of text on the screen instead of 10 lines. Not just something that will just make the fonts bigger or taller.

Currently if you have a huge list in the game it will only show you the first few items even if there is more space below. Is this just a limitation of the game/graphics engine or is there some setting that I should adjust?

There is no way to do this currently, as the width/height of those screens (such as the title screen, status screen, manager, nobles, units, etc) are hard coded.
