I feel ya. Exams are bloody terrifying, especially the oral ones, even more so if they're finals. Basically, i could only be any more jumpy than before an exam if i played Amnesia: The Dark Descent in the night before an exam with all lights off.

Mine has actually subsided for the last couple days... which is weird, because I've been drowning in even more stress and sleep deprivation than normal the past week or so.

Background:  I've had back problems getting steadily worse for a few years, and also had my right kidney removed several years back.

...So, sharp pains last night.  Roughly in the same region I usually get back pain but not quite; closer to my left side.  Cramping pain that keeps getting worse.  Oh god, is it my other kidney?  Quick glance at an anatomical chart shows that it's closer to my stomach, but it /might/ be at my kidney...

Nah, it was probably just a wicked bad tummy ache thanks to...I dunno, maybe that tomato sauce was expired.  But it was still terrifying.  I'm doing better today.  I'm still going to see a doctor and get that checked out.

Went to go for a blood test.
Full disclosure: I am terrified of needles, IVs, and pretty much anything even vaguely related to medical stuff.

I had a panic attack and couldn't go through with it, just broke down and started weeping in the office. Spent the rest of the day close to tears.

Since when are phobias logical? Of course you don't understand it; the person afraid doesn't either.


I nearly passed out once due to needles (they stabbed me 3-4 times trying to find a vein in a particularly painful spot), but nothing so bad as a panic attack. Ouch.

Needles are the very definition of terrifying. There are vaccinations I ought to have (HPV, etc) that I just can't bring myself to go get because needles.

I also have a minor phobia of walking up stairs in the dark.

Other than injections, I'm also afraid of large creatures that live in the water.
