New world for 31.18. Embarked in attempt to find Curious Structure, used dfreveal after announcement of a cave-in right next to the upright structure, and guess what?

The demons have not flied out of the hole in the ground yet. Whether this is because of the lack of a path (cave-in is about 1 sec after embark, and I let everything run for about 30 sec after unpausing) or some other esoteric reason I do not know.

I've heard reports on this new "Unknown Material" that's supposedly in 31.18, but that was limited to workshops and forges. Can anyone explain this/provide some more info?

I'm not sure but it seems slade armour and weapons are gone from the object testing arena.

However, there still is an entry in the raws for Slade.

Yes, there is Slade. The Unknown Material seems to only exist in the top 4 Z-levels of this structure, and the entire thing (portion above glowing floor anyway) is 11 Z-levels high.
