Are my dwarves trying to tell me something?

In my new fortress, out of the six artefacts I've had made, four of them (including the first) are coffins...

Engraved on the floor is a well-designed image of a kobold and a carp.  The kobold is making a plaintive gesture.  The carp is laughing.

Gothic-style Fortress!

Coffins and slabs.
All cloth dyed by silver barb (black) and hide root (red). Also, leather. Studded with silver.
Whole fortress from cast obsidian...

Gonna be cool

make your entire fortress in the form of a huge coffin.

make a lever to drop a cover on it and fix it with steel nails.

for bonus point make all your dwarves constantly miserable and finally dead!

Not a lever.  A clock.  Bonus points if it runs on the creature logic of a captured skeletal semi-megabeast.
