Less rollback than you think. I didn't realize that that save was outdated. It should be pretty close now.

My computer is working, but its in a pretty bad way. Server might go down intermittently as I attempt to make things better. I'll also be gone most of the afternoon.

EDIT: My computer is cripple. Working, but at about half capacity. To that end, I won't really be able to keep the server up all the time. So I think I'm probably going to call our map over. We did 101 years. Thats pretty good. When I get my replacement parts, I'll put it back up, but they probably won't come in until as late as the 29th. I may be able to get a temporary fix going, but as it stands, that is the situation.

EDIT2: Server back up, Temporary fix cobbled together. Its not pretty, but it'll do. Loaded the old map, I'd like to get 30 more years out of it.

EDIT3: Its 2012. The world has ended.

I'd like to thank everyone who played, it wouldn't have been the same without you, obviously (Fuck the AI!).

If anyone has any NewGRFs they'd like to see put into the next map, please tell me now. I'm thinking we'd start in 1950, but I'm open to suggestions. I'd also like to schedule this, so at least a handful of people can get in on the ground floor, instead of joining years after the start.

So, what time works best for you folks? I'm open almost all day tomorrow, and from at least 1800 EST for the rest of the work week. My weekend schedule has yet to be determined, however.

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

Well, I'm up for whatever, really. Given that most new GRFs can be downloaded in program, and the sheer variety of them... well, it makes up for the "three crappy diesel trains" in sub-tropical and sub-arctic.

Still, a little more in the way of hills would be nice, but I'm a masochist, so...

As much as water travel is ki8nda sucky, a map bisected by a water feature would be nice.

Don't fuck with the guys across the river and such.

Water travel is actually extremely profitable with the FISH NewGRF that I use. Passenger hydrofoils make travel by sea both practical and profitable.

Well I can play some after school each day. I am really new to this game, and would need help getting all the extra stuff you use.

Cargodist is cool but I hate having a mod I only use for one server, and switching between multiple OTTD installs or whatever.

Trainz are being built up in here yo!
So I have two roundabouts, and two of my passenger lines run through both roundabouts on their way to and from their destination. Both routes can find their way to the end of their route, but they get lost on the way back. Is this an issue with 4 way junctions or just roundabouts?

Can I ask that, Charmander, Eagle_Eye, and Jakkaraaavvvvvv/Inquistor(?) perhaps contact me on the DFC, when they pop in. I don't like to leave the server just running, because if there is no one on it, there is no point. Since trains will just age, break down, and go to hell. Industries will die. That sort of thing.

I'm more than happy to give out the rcon, so you can manually pause/unpause as you join or leave, but I'd rather not post it publicly, and see that your not a dick first. (Charmander, you're okay.)

Or hell, Use the Email button. I get Gmail Desktop notifications. I should see it within a minute or so.

Ahah, sorry. I'm sporadic as sin, half the time, and sometimes I'll get on and think "guh, I can't be bothered".

Also it's a little depressing to play on your own.

If you came on the DFC chat and asked us, that would probably entice a few of us to play.
