Dwarf Fortress isn't even linked to on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwarf

Maybe we could put a paragraph on "Dwarves in roleplaying games"?
I like the info on the "Dwarf" page in the DFWiki. Some of that would be perfect. We could even make that our "source", so the self-holy people that go around deleting stuff they find "unimportant" (in their blasphemous minds), can be evaded.

Why is this so important, again?
These dwarves are pretty much like in Lord of the rings...
So the game isn't as connected to dwarves ass one might think...

Dwarves in this setting so far don't have a whole lot to distinguish them from dwarves in other settings.

Except of course, that in DF they don't suck (seriously, in "The Hobbit" they were always getting captured or something). My dwarves kick ass, and elves are pansy tree huggers - the way it should be.

So there's that, as well. It looks like the only chronic problems that water can't cure are nausea and cave spider bites.
Which, coincidentally enough, can be cured by magma.

Haha, Necro, you seem to miss the point of Wikipedia quite wildly. DFWiki as a source, you have to be kidding me!

I think the Man has a point.  We *could* do something about differences between dwarves in different settings, DF being one of the ones where dwarves are both really cool and absolutely insane at the same time, but it feels like we're just looking for excuses.  I think we should just do something to the effect of "Dwarf Based Games", since, in the end, what we're trying to do.

Also, looks like every game listed on that page is a finished one.

We could put something about how suicidal they are, and about their dark humour and dependence on alcohol.
