Around here, DF players are coming out of the woodwork. What about where the rest of bay12 lives?

I work next door to a Gamestop and leading up to the the midnight release for WoW Cataclysm, some guys were talking about DF and more specifically the podcast.  I went out of my way to avoid saying anything, because, well, WoW.

Only one, and I introduced them to it, so I don't really know if it counts. Any other DF players in Utah?

Heh, that's a coincidence. I'm in Logan, at least today. I live in Layton/Logan.

There are four people I know of just in my office that play it, more than have asked about it. Only one of those I introduced the others where playing it already.

Well there is the guy who introduced it to me. He now plays MineCraft instead. Rest assured, I am engraving a slab for him, just so he can never come back to life. I would give him a magma induced farewell, but because MC also has magma, I think the dwarven atom smasher is called for.

Then there is the guy who I got to play it. He doesn't often get more then a few hours in before going to play HoN or WoW, so meh to him, atleast he tries.

I don't know anyone personally that plays it.  Everyone I know is more or less tired of me talking about it, so I've stopped trying to introduce them to it.

"Infested" one of my work mates and two of my Airsoft buddies with a deadly strain of DF.
My wife does not play DF, she's just a casual gamer (one that is lost without a graphic interface and mouse support), but she listens and giggles to all my DF stories.
Mentioned the game to other people who gave it a try and went back to WoW and such other nonsense.

I'm from .ro/bucharest myself, and there's bound to be more Dorfs from around here.
