Or stealing megabeast eggs and having a baby megabeast selling caravan!

Live long if you can, and prosper by any means necessary.  Any means, Urist.  So pull that lever, or by Armok, I'll lock you outside come next siege.
He who plays with dwarves must take care that he does not become a dwarf.  And when you stare into DwarfFort, Dwarffort stares back into you.

Heh, now Adventure Mode is going to have Monster Hunter quests?

Peasant: A rathian has been terrorizing our village!
Peasant: Ridgedcurses is a half day's journey to the west.
Peasant: Seek out the eggs of Queendeserts the Embodiment of Earth and return with one egg.
Peasant: Law-Giver Urist McOmelette has devoured three rathian eggs in his lust for yolk!

Also...

When I wake up the first thing I do... Eggs.

Arggggggh!! I was trying to do that very same quest 20 minutes ago:  A wild Melynx as appeared!
...
I lost the damn Egg to a cat swarm shortly after.

Heh, a dragon is terrorizing the town yet all they want is it's eggs for omlettes...

Talk about priorities...Chicken eggs for breakfast are for wusses. Dragon omlettes, breakfast of Champions!!!

Or... perhaps if the game had Cockatrice or Basilisks in it. Gather their eggs and use them as projectiles, hopefully causing petrification on impact.

what if we don't wear gloves? :D

That's why you always wear gloves.

Standard group of cats, except they use swarm tactics and apply explosives all over the place.

Well hey, that's how it is in the Monster Hunter games. They have all these dragons and monsters living right outside their village, and they want you to go grab a few eggs and bring them home. Because dragon omelettes are worth accidentally leading the monster to your village.

Everyone knows dwarves pass knowledge through a mass collective, fueled by alcohol. Hence their inability to sustain themselves over long periods with water; they lose the dwarven empathic connection, and become singular and... sane. Which in turn drives them crazy!

I wonder if dragons will still take a millennium to reach full size.
