That's what happens when you attack an entity member. The reindeer was probably tame, and killing it pissed off every single other member of the reindeer's civ, so they are all murderously angry with you. Forever.

FOrgot that one pressure plate that dumps me in the pit: said pit was connected too candy-vile; i killed two before falling too the hundreds of demens...

Accidentally disturbed a mummy in a temple's catacombs. I managed to sneak away to a dead end and the mummy, despite not spotting me, followed me all the way to the dead end only to stand over the hatchway out. Attempting to sneak between his legs had the expected result. Cursed, cursed, got multiple limbs scratched off, cursed again for good measure, then fisted through the brain for the closing, all before I got another turn.

Got caught by a sole goblin of a civ.

After a long battle I got my lung bruised, but I managed to break his leg. (and took his mace and shield, too)
Was going to finish him, when all of sudden - Zombie Mountain Goats.

They killed me and stole the goblin kill.
Curse them.

I just finish killing a dragon I found (more like it found me underwater), go into the nearby dungeon to kill the vampire I was supposed to kill, kill around a dozen troglodytes (or more), run into one more thinking he was harmless (as the others were), and then

I got shot in my lung by a bolt, im new so i was thinking: I NEED TO GET IT OUTTTTTT!
I pull the bolt out, only to suffocate 2 turns later...

I'm still not sure what caused this. I guess I became a public enemy, or whatever, when I attacked that Reindeer. Live and learn.

you probly attacked a stray "tamed" reindeer, actually im sure you did. That caused the surrounding civ to become hostile to you.

Anyway OT i recently died when i made a campfire circle at night so the bogeymen couldnt get me while i was still sleeping. Then these couple of guys called the "Bunnies of Confederation" show up and said they'll make me remember them, but my campfires was still lit and they had 2 marksmen and i was still new enough that i didnt train thrower specifically yet, or have ammo...so yea i died i slow painful death pincushoned and not able to escape from my own fire walls to a few bandits i would have otherwise dealt with easily...

Became a vampire, went on a murderous rampage, Killed 400 random humans in towns before a weaver finally managed to stab me in the head after I've already stripped naked and strangled five people without any weapons. it was ridiculous
