Trekked for four days and nights (vampire) to kill a titan. It webbed me and killed me instantly.

I was going to kill a Steam one and got ambushed and killed in the way to there... by a weird bug or something with a cheetah... Well, at least you fell victim of a great name.

Deaths are deaths, BS or not, you are deceased now. You lost. Game over. Find something less dumb to do next time.

Drowned in lava.

You read that correctly. Drowned. Not eviscerated into a bloody steamy mist. Drowned. The character didn't burn at all in the lava. No combustion. No melting. No gruesome death. Just suffocation. How does that even work?

I accidentally deleted the dwarf fortress folder.
So long Cerol, the legendary axe dwarf with 3000+kills.
(I could always recover the data, but.. meh, it was a fitting end)

Did you empty the recycling folder?  Because if not you literally just need to drag and drop the DF folder onto the desktop.

My human adventurer, Tequil Thururaadis, he had just defeated a family of Gloom Freaks for the ruling lady, afterwards he was sent to kill a large goblin camp. He'd already done the kingdom a great service, Tequil was not afraid to die in battle. During the battle, he had managed to kill a good-sized amount of goblins before being overwhelmed and was sliced to death. A fitting death, a warrior dying in the heat of a group battle (not enough members to be a war, but close enough :P).
