Well you know prostatic limbs are very advanced in today's world, we have limbs that can read nerve endings to open/close, use pointer finger, and we have things like metal pincers, etc.

All you would need to fire a weapon is one of those pincy things to hold the weapon, and the open/close one for the trigger.

In LCS technology doesn't really advance (for now), and while I think blue/red/<insert your favorite colour> sky science fiction doesn't suit the game, we can be pretty certain that there will be affordable prosthetic limbs capable of using an assault rifle without any hindrance in 2020's, if not earlier.

Technology is evil!  That's why it doesn't exist in LCS.

It would be interesting to have an LCS spin-off where potential future technologies depended on the political progression. So having heavily conservative firearms and military/police laws would see kickass weaponry developed sooner (and depleted uranium ammunition/vehicle armour any time nuclear laws are conservative). On the other hand, if things were very liberal most development would be in health.

To work you'd have to play on a grander scale than LCS is built for (decades versus a few years), but it would be interesting at least.
