Yeah, I'm using Firefox at the moment. The acronym tag worked, just nothing showed anything about its presence. If you want to cut a few letters out, you can use [abbr] instead
Thanks for the tip. The tags will be around all the abilities, most wounds, some inventory items, and all (...)'s. You should be fine if you remember that.
Since I lack the Sniper I wish I had, sneak out the door ninja-like
You might want to post your Meta Action too.

May I please be put on the waiting list?

Every time I enter a wretched hive of scum and villainy...
Question: When you say Medical Attention, do you mean that I need somebody else to treat my wound, or can I attempt to treat it myself?

Meta: Use Technobabble to convince Derek not to have his character beat my character unconscious.

Fantasy: Flee the tavern full of people trying to incapacitate me, as the ground is no place to have a fight. Attempt to stop bleeding using Long Coat as a tourniquet.

Note that under heavy bleeding it says "medical attention", but under broken bones it says "skilled medical attention". Both require the medical attention before you can roll for healing, but anyone can apply normal medical attention. Skilled medical attention comes from a doctor.
tl;dr: You can treat it yourself.

I wonder, should a fracture require medical attention too? It seems more appropriate.

Meta: I try to help heal Derm (or just give him medical attention).

Fantasy: I use some of the money won as a clever bribe to make the innkeeper talk more about this town's past and present.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bone_fracture#Treatment

Short version is, bones heal naturally but if you want it to heal back the way it was you need skilled medical attention to set the bone properly. If you want to regain function over the short term (as we are seeing here) you need some kind of immobilization to keep the bones from tearing the flesh and you need pain meds to avoid howling in agony every step.

Looks like the waiting list may not be waiting long! :D

This is RTD not real life.

Breaking your leg is at best a minor inconvenience.

Yes, considering what I just made Edgar do in the next turn, I'll say an improvised splint should be enough for a fracture.

I think it shouldn't require SKILLED medical attention, but it should require medical attention. I mean, if you just set it at random without giving it attention medically then it will probably set crooked and whatnot, and if that happened in the RTD it would probably give a penalty to using that limb. However, I don't think that someone who's been walking with that leg their whole life and maybe even studied random medical notes and whatnot will need to have studied bone setting/doctoring/whatever to set it correctly.

Okay, I've got all the systems worked out. I can post the next turn as soon as... 11/2 more people post their actions.

The RNG hates some of you. This turn things finally pan out, as you're getting a better idea what these places look like.

**********~
Turn 2
**********~

META TURN:

You are all in a small, well-lit room. It's cramped in here.

Goals
Get the hell out of wherever we are!

Current Soundtrack
Hive Tunnel

Actions
Meta:Examine the hallway
(...) You peek out of the room into the hallway, but you can't make out any details other than a window at the far end.
Meta: Use Technobabble to convince Derek not to have his character beat my character unconscious.
(...) The phlebotinum won't save you now! You try to reason with Derek, but a maniacal grin spreads over his face and he begins furiously typing on his keypad!
Meta: I try to help heal Derm (or just give him medical attention).
(...) You massage his femoral area, relieving some of the pain. Glancing outside, you notice a sign pointing down a hallway branching to the right, which says "Medical Bay". Someone's gonna have to carry Derek... Your thoughts are quite suddenly interrupted by a loud klaxon siren! "ATTENTION ALL AVAILABLE TROOPS IN MAINTENANCE DECK 3: A CONTAINMENT BREACH HAS BEEN DETECTED IN INTERROGATION CELL BLOCK 7E."
Meta:
Find a mop.
(...) It's cleaning time! You quickly sprint down the hall, stepping right on Derek's leg on the way. You pass several signs on the way, which you can barely make out through the flashing red klaxon lights. "Medical Bay"... "Crew Quarters"... "Main Deck"... there it is! "Janitor's Closet"! Prying open the door, you rifle through the contents until you find a mop. Now you're dangerous.
Meta: laugh at assorted pain, then attempt to help medical attempts.
(...) You manage to hoist Derek into a standing position. You can't do much here, so you set off for the Medical Bay.
