Who's work, his or yours? And then use the Internet to find ZC-04.

TQ-42 says that if you fail to capture ZC-04
then all is work will be for naught!
That's where the h came from. All will be explained/retro-edited.

Inquire about the work, and how one mutant can jeopardise it.

You ask TQ-42 what work he's referring to and how
ZC-04 could jeopardize it so much.

TQ-42 laughs slightly and says that you don't understand and prefaces
his answer with a question
"Do you ever thing there is more to the universe.
Some intelligence greater than the Pstchithxchs or Spokers that the
deep space pilots talk about. Some greater essence permeating
the universe that has yet to be explored?"

TQ-42's enthusiasm is making you feel uncomfortable.

Has it really been 100 pages in default?
Seems like only exactly 5 months ago that I was hastily drawing TQ-01 in MSpaint.

Slap him and force the truth out right now.

Ask him if he's referring to a deity or advanced civilization. Ask him how one sectoid could endanger his work.

I only now realized I had the first post on the hundredth page. Here's to another hundred pages.

Tell TQ-42 that you know the powers of the Gran Mungo, and have seen this other world.

Notice you walk into TC-42 the paranoid Sectoid room and not your boss, clearly since your boss would have kick you out by now and send in the droids.

You ask what makes this typo so important
as to warrant this madness from Rum

Rum says that if you fail to capture the plot point from t'h'e typo
t'h'en all 'h'is work will be for naug'h't!

TQ-42, you're just completely bonkers.

Ah, fuck it, a ZC-04, new rule, ZC's don't get to be plot points you'll have to just make fun of my yogurt allergies and inability to remember where my tablet is.

Realize that all of this  ALL OF THIS was a big yogurt high waste of time as your coming off the deluded state of yogurt explain your self to TC-42 and return home.

You ask TQ-42 what work he's referring to and how
ZC-04 could jeopardize it so much.

. . .

TQ-42 laughs slightly and says that you don't understand

I find it very likely that "not understanding" means the opening prompt should be reversed.  Instead of ZC-04 jeopardizing the work, ZC-04 could be essential to it.  If TQ-42 is going for the "greater essence permeating the universe," it is plausible that ZC-04 is intended to open the metaphorical gateway.  Perhaps the "essence" is related to the Surrealm and/or the glorious dream city of Shabalash, and this mutant has super-awesome psychic powers.  Perhaps the "yogurt coma" wasn't purely due to the (stupid) Gran Mungo, but also residual psychic effects.

Proclaim that TQ-42's enthusiasm is making you feel uncomfortable and that if this is going to turn into a transcendental meditation party with a triangular-jawed hair-fiend then you're going to start slapping folks.

You want nothing of this conversation.
You slap TQ-42 across the face.

TQ-42 apparently finds this a prompt for further explanation.
TQ-42 insincerely apologizes and remarks that he will
continue on with is explanation unabated.

He proclaims knowledge of a great and distant entity.
Great in power and predominantly but not entirely alien.
He has done research and found no previously existant
recievings that can explain what he was contacted by.

He came into contact with the entity half a century ago in a strange
tube phantasy brought about by unknown conditions.
He profesed to have communicated with the entity in an alien
environment in some subliminal fashion in which he could not perceive
absolutes of language but a massive and nebulous stockpile of knowledge.
When he was startled awake he noticed an eldrich material
within his dormitorium that evaporated before he was able to have it examined.
TQ-42 had sought to repeat the conditions of the phantasy but never succeeded.
He claimed to have sought other measures but ran into technical hurdles.

TQ-42 professes that interspecies communication between such
an entity could be impossible directly. He is reminded of the
Pstchithxchs debacle that was solved without diplomacy between
lifeforms of relatively similar technological levels.
TQ-42 says that he has been working for a way to communicate
openly with the entity and call it directly through some means.

TQ-42 says he began his current efforts over 20 rotations ago
when he found some trace radiation that he could not explain in
his dormitorium. Though unable to find the source, TQ-42 was eventually
able to reproduce the radiation. He proceeded to observe it's effects
on living cells twisting them into the bizarre substance over time but
similarly decaying. Using borrowed medical equipment TQ-42 illegally
exposed a dish of spawning gametes to the bizarre radiation
and applied them to a tank in the spawning plant where you both work.

Months later, TQ-42 says he noticed stable modifications in a previously
unchanged Sectoid spawn. The form continued to change gradually during
gestation becoming more and more unlike the Sectoid cells that merely supported the eldrich
material.

Thus, TQ-42 concludes, he needs to return ZC-04 to his care so she wont be harmed
by any panicking Sectoids that might not be as open minded as you, (TQ-42 applauds you
for having the heart not to cull her in the tank for her appearance). He repeats the importance of
reclaiming her so she can bring the Powerful alien presence to Mezizz and usher in a new age of
peace and understanding.

Not only is TQ-42 a mutant sympathizer, but an alien sympathizer
and a complete lunatic.

what do you do?

Report TQ-42 for, you know, making weird alien-sectoid hybrids, before hunting down ZC-04.

As an alternative, we could probably convince him that making alien-sectoid hybrids in such an uncontrolled manner is reckless, likely to get him fired, and worst of all: unscientific!
