It's always been wrecks-fell'em to me.

Either you know your Latin, or you're a good guesser.

It would have been Rexfelis, after the entity in Greyhawk, but then I took a Latin class and realized the grammar was wrong.  Hence the tongue-twister I have today.  Because it's only ever used in print anyway, I figured it didn't matter if I completely ruined my chances of correct pronunciation.

In that case it's Rex-Fail-Oom. No? You are now :)

Incorrect, Siquo.  In a number of languages (that aren't English), vowel sounds remain consistent across contexts.  This is why I said Robocorn's version was right over your earlier version, where you had changed the pronunciation on "e" partway through the word, but the android pony-kin had not.

(Why did I just call him "the android pony-kin"?)

The only counterpoint is that pronunciation of Latin is a (relatively) modern invention, as we have none of the original speakers to tell us we are right or wrong.  We have two popular pronunciation systems being taught in schools, and I learned one of them.  The only thing I can't tell you off the top of my head is which name goes with which system.

Then I must've been taught the other, as I learned to pronounce it as I just did (the u as an oo (as in too)) :)
Anyway, it's your name, you get to pick the pronunciation.

I noticed lots of people are trying to pronounce mine as a tonguetwisting See-Kwo. Which is really a nice try but Sicko is just as good.

I've noticed that some people around here are very eager for updates.

Then I must've been taught the other, as I learned to pronounce it as I just did (the u as an oo (as in too))

I misspoke.  I was trying to emphasize that the two "e" sounds should be identical, and both of your suggestions had changed the "e" partway.  That was my main point.

The pronunciation I learned for "e" was as a long "a," like ray, and "u" was also long, like too.  So that would be raycks fay loom.  But English speakers do weird things with these pronunciations.  I saw an interesting discussion in the Ars Magica roleplaying game, where they use Latin terms for everything: "magus" should really be pronounced mah goose, for one.  You can get yourself to do this, and you'll sound formal and upperclass.  Or maybe you'll sound like a weirdo.

So people tend to make pronunciation easier when they adopt a word away from Latin and into their own language.  Rexfelis, from Greyhawk, probably was never intended to be in strict Latin form and the creator probably just grabbed syllables that looked good.  Generally, I go with the form suggested by the defensively-armed single-toed chrome ungulate.

The droid begins to spring forward towards the crowd.
You can't let it hurt your followers but can't serve to gain any more enemies.
Gasping for breath, you choke out to 00AEEF and SC-412 to disable
the droid's limbs rather than destroy it outright.

"You miserable tubespawners will pay."

They seem to hear you as they pick of a few more legs
from the droid as it strides forward through the crowd.
Waves of panic spread through the mob as tranquility brought about by free yogurt subsides.
Even distant parts of the crowd seem disturbed somewhat by the combat.

"You will be set right and that droid's autonomy will be restored"

More limbs blast off the droid as it endures multiple hits from the Tixs.
It falls to the ground surrounded by it's writhing, coiled, useless limbs.

"None of you will receive an expedient modification.
You will atone in a slower, less efficient way, to more effectively
act as preventative measures
"

On the floor, thought to be helpless at this point, the droid
snatches at a nearby Sectoid wringing her up by her throat
and using it as a shield for its lens and part of its remaining limb.

"This will be the first example.
other droids have been contacted to assist me in this mission
Your infection of the droid's thought process is clear.
I am not my legs, I am not my claws.
I am not even my operating systems and sensors.
I am an equation
to tamper with such a thing is unforgivable.
"

Guess what everybody? Ink update!

They certainly are, and it's very flattering really.
I rarely just take days off from updating there's usually a reason behind it.

tl;dr money's tight, stuff changes, updates will be weird for like a week.

All that and no commentary on "android pony-kin," "horned metal equine friend," or "defensively-armed single-toed chrome ungulate."  What does it take to earn some zemblax around here?

Shoot the robot in the claw.

Brilliant!  That way we can kill our fellow Sectoid ourselves and keep the droid from doing it!  Or, more accurately, since we don't have a gun, we won't do that.  We'd have to tell the folks with guns to do it.  How would they respond?  It's not completely clear.

Got any suggestions that TQ-03 can implement herself?

In that case, tell OUR robot to shoot the other robot in the optical sensor.
Nevermind, we'd still hit the hostage.

While I normally don't suggest ideas, I suggest we tell the fellow  on top of our robot to jump off the robot, making enough distance to clear the crowd, and being close enough to take an accurate shot at the exposed part of the limb holding the hostage. Hopefully the hostage doesn't die by that time.

Or we could realize that this droid has lost his mind and this place is filled with loose cannon droids deem to crazy/unease to work with. most droids besides 00EEFF and leyanne did their jobs and pretty kind and humble on their work. This one must have snap off on too many hostile remarks to the point that he was ship off to this island to roam the halls. This might explain how 00EEFF got here also.
Still believe there a underground Droid Rebel army just this guy has a few screws loose. Still we need to find and help this cause on the droid Front so that little outburst like this one won't happen.

This, but do it silently, so the Droid doesn't notice and kills the Hostage.

Whelp, I drew up the update, but it would appear that the library is closed during the weekend and I cannot scan it.
In lieu of drawing it again, but worse, using the barely responsive mouse on this computer, I instead invite you to request
bonus content for today and tomorrow using those zemblax things I leave everywhere.
Now that there are mechanics in play it's more than just one of those ask me to draw things threads.

Yeah, Tubular metagame game. Woo...

Talking about zemblax?! minus 5000 zemblax!
Heh, kidding. have 2000 zemblax they have no established value anyway.
