We can also be one of those small bug things from the Surrealm, though I think that would be a bad idea.

Look on the bright side: pretty soon, we'd get to redesignate that same slot.

And am I the only one who wants to go back to pixelated Rauthaz?

You are TQ-01

You've been led to the atrium of the ship by a chatty guard who has repeatedly misidentified you as TQ-19408605,
the guard who currently exists in a state of limbo within your wrist mounted inventory.
You've lost your friend TQ-02, your ally Alpha Rauthaz, and your way.

Your guide, TE-8897765443 apparently, has not stopped talking for more than a moment at a time.
It worries you somewhat.

"You gotta know the importance of R&R, TQ-19408605! If you don't head to the atrium every once in a while you start to get the old
space madness. It may sound crazy rookie but it happens! A Sectoid spends one too many years without fresh air and a sky above them
and their mind goes loopy the second they land on a planet. I've seen it happen once. Some spacebound sanitation engineer poked his head outside
when we landed on Zeptod a couple a' years back. Had to get him reset. No foolin'. So anyway, you gotta appreciate the AR's atrium. Some of the
ships have nice ones. But This one's got some of the most exotic species they scrounged off the genesis world before the Pstchithxchs had their way with it.
Mezziz is a nice homeworld, but if this room is any indication, Gabrona was waaay better. True facts. So what do you want to do rookie? We can play some Spekli, though you're looking at the master on this ship. Or we can find some yogurt, there's a selection but they haven't got any of that rare stuff, that's not your type anyway eh, TQ-19408605. So, what do you want to do?"

Remember when this was monochrome?

I'm glad it's not now, at least for this panel.

Anyway, I'm curious about what Spekli is. Let's play it to find out.

Now that we're on the move again, I've finished updating that guide thing.  And this is a different sort of "page count," but TQ-04 died on page 200 in standard forum view.  So, you realize that this forum game has now passed 200 pages, right?  And is almost a year old?  And is awesome?

In other news, I'm really getting X-COM plantlife vibes from the atrium.  Funny how Robocorn disavows all knowledge of X-COM.

In other other news, in my quest to get us to become Alpha Rauthaz, I totally knew that we were going to meet up in the atrium.  Totally knew it.

In other other other news, we want to attain a state of Sectoid zen by meditating within a lotus position, within an alien lotus.

I'd say throw him into a carnivorous plant, but we need to get the pacifist medal for TQ-01. Actually, I wouldn't say to throw him into one anyway.

Terrible, terrible idea: Smoke space weed/catnip.

Wait, can we take his wrist-mounted inventory and shove him into it? And by take, I mean ask politely to borrow it. Can we put a wrist-mounted inventory into another wrist-mounted inventory?

Well TQ-01 fine let's jump to someone in else. maybe RAVE ROOM!

You are the RAVE ROOM
Spoiler: epileptic beware (click to show/hide)
Being a large room for parties and get togethers,  you haven't seen much action other than a few intoxicated folks push each other. but Today something special happens. some one died and now replace it's spot.

If this happens then TQ-03 needs to wake up with "KO'D" written on her face.

You've never played spekli before so you guess you could-

"Spekli? Great! I just found a table. I gotta wan you rookie, I can't be beaten at spekli.
You're going to have a tough time if you're trying to beat me."

"It's not a hard game to learn, TQ-19408605. I'm surprised you never found the time to learn it.
It's all over the western galactic arm. They must have played it on Zektor 2 or wherever we picked you
up. I won't hold it against you, because I'm unbeatable. everyone on this ship has lost against me."

"it's hard to find anyone to play against me so I'll show you how."

TE-8897765443 presses the center hexagon of the array and it illuminates red.

"See? You just press the hexes and they light up. We take turns lighting them up and the first with 3 in a contiguous line wins. The games go pretty quick. Don't feel too bad when I beat you."

I could either have adapted an existing game to an alien environment, spent a lot of time and effort inventing the kind of unsolved strategic game that an advanced alien race would play, or invent a game that will make people make this face ಠ_ಠ.

Knowing me, the intent behind spekli is probably painfully clear.
