You block off his victory but he instantly makes another move.
Truly this is the excitement of a spekli match.

Block him! Make it a draw.

Truly this is the excitement of a spekli match.

Yes, and apparently all these moves are well-known enough to be named (as per the prior update).  I approve of our narrowed-eyed look across the table.  Our esteemed opponent is surely getting more thrills out this than we are, and he knows it's about to be a draw.

Hang on.  Maybe there's a reason.  Maybe there's some unstated rule that "ties pay the dealer," as it were, and TE-8897765443 will presently be lording his fantastic "victory" over us.  Jerk!

Regardless . . .

Do the only blocking move, i.e., claim the tile to the right of the initial tile.  Display a sarcastic facial expression while doing so.

Prediction: In the event of a tie, the board expands.

I'm waiting for the trick, where he declares victory on turn three, having contructed a curved line from three contiguous hexes.  :P

That's what I thought was going to happen, since he said continuous and not straight.

Same here, hence the accusations at the start that player 1 would always win.

No, follow the logic.  If he moved the other way (i.e., where Andux is proposing we now go), he would be guaranteed to lose.

Prediction: In the event of a tie, the board expands.

Oh, no!  This seems terrifyingly possible!

Look at all the spare space!

You block off his latest winning attempt.

There's no way he can connect three now.
That smug bastard just keeps on smiling.
He must know something you don't.

Are you trying to psyche me out, bro?
I must warn you, I literally invented the game of spekli.
A game whose rules I have gone to great lengths to obfuscate.
And yet still was probably solved within minutes of it's presentation.

I'm going to make up so many new rules before the relative inappropriateness of this game break becomes apparent.

>fill the missing character slot with Alu controller of busts

The meta game would be finding out how to move the character into space and join up with the rest of the Gabronians.
