Lady's and gentledwarfs, we have a freakishly destructive dwarf among us. But first, let us recount the events that led to the event of a forgotten beast dying.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
This is the finished entry to cavern one.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
This is who we're trying to attract

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
He broke down the door, and some moron ran out and tried to go at him one on one...
A forgotten beast made of heliodor.

AND THE DWARF BIT THE DAMN THING AND SHATTERED A PART OF IT.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
How do you DO that?

Later on his friends joined in.

The dwarf that decided to solo the beast, and fractured it's lower body with a bite, has been renamed champ and given a nice tomb.

Your lucky day.

Spring has sprung, and it's the end of my turn

Very little has happened between my last post and now. As in nothing at all.

BUT here is the good ol' end of turn status screen

Things to consider

Marksdwarves are a little wonky, they do their job for the most part, but I think a few of em are missing a few vital components

Everyone is pretty happy, but the children are starting to get frowny from lack of clothing.
There's at least 2 forgotten beasts in the first cavern layer, both don't seem to be interested in trying to ransack the fort.
And with that, consider the winter and my time as overseer to officially be wrapped up.

While adding magma to anything will make it dwarfy, adding the word "magma" to your post does not necessarily make it funny.

Somehow, that fills me more with dread than anticipation.  It's like being told that someone's exhuming your favorite grandparent and they're going to try to make her into a cyborg stripper.

Just checked, and Prometheusmfd has been online today. Take that for whatever it means.

Why? We could just skip and it would be active again.

This doesn't die until the fort does.

Doesn't seem very alive to me. Anyone wanna make a Mk. III thread and raise this fort from the dead?
