While it is true that DefroMortis is an artistic demigod, I still like yours because unlike all the other pictures you made it long and sanke like, giving it an even more ominous feel. I also think that the lighting is very good. Don't beat yourself up for not being better than the video game concept artist, it is his job after all. (At least if I remember what he said correctly, it could just be my brain trying to come up with an explanation for his amazing skills)

I'm gonna vote for Guardian G.I, partially becase I love the beast's expression... He's like, "Hi guys, I heard there was a party?!"
Whilst Deferomortis' take was, of course, brilliant, it didn't amaze me quite as much as his last two. I mean, those ones just about gave me a brain hemorrhage with their awesomeness, whereas this one just a headache.

I would have to disagree with you on this one, I really like the feeling of depth he managed to create with the multiple layers (forground and background etc.) furthermore I'd say that this entry had an extordinary amount of originality, both in his interprentation of the beast with the tumorlike thing on the neck and the general look of the artwork.

Oh, don't get me wrong, it is an excellent piece of art! I just preferred his rendition of Unu, and the other beast before that... Those two have been burned indelibly into my nightmares! ...Er, in a good way!

Btw guys last time I checked we weren't voting , the person who won the last challange picks the winner of the next. This was changed because the voting is what brought this thread down in the past. But ofc speak your mind if you feel differently since this is only based on the opinions of me and defero.
I'm by no mean telling you to stop voting, it's acually nice to see so much interest Just wanted to point out how things work at the moment.

I think for now we should just stick to the winner picking the next winner. It's just a lot simpler.

I had also mentioned earlier that maybe there should be a rule that you can't pick the person who picked you. Just to spread the love you know? More people will get a chance to pick a creature that way.

Of course if there are objections to this speak you mind. It's not my thread.

If I don't hear anything from you guys against it in the next few hours, then I'm going to go ahead and name my successor.

A fantastic round, yes. Though many of the interpretations were similar, it's the subtle differences that made a lot of these fun.
