Nice! The color and texture of the wings makes me think of Half-Life-2's Headcrabs. It's that lovely 'Horror genre' brown.

Though it looks like the Dwarf is concerned for his fellow miner, in the world of Dwarf Fortress he's probably saying "Get out o' the way, ye donkey! Can't ye see that -bronze pick- needs returnin' to the stockpile?!"
