Generally disturbing. It's a spider's abdomen, but hollowish, and it wouldn't do much good pointed backwards.
I should have made it bigger to make the FB able to roll up fully, but that's close enough. I'm not sure that making it bigger would have been an improvement, it didn't look that dirty when I was drawing it. :/

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.

Fode! I have two scanners, but one of them isn't supported past XP SP1 and the other is beige. Shows how often I need to scan things.

It's not supposed to have a tail or a shell, you know.

So we got monsters above, monsters below, dwarves in the middle and a party in the dining hall. Sounds good to me.
If all else fails, remember one thing:  kittens are delicious, nutritious little goblin-baiters, cavern explorers, and ambush-finders.

I'm sorry, but this is the only thing that came to my mind after "web-shooting humanoid with mandibles" registered with it. If you like, pretend the -WARFARE METALS- are under the suit.

You know, I thought "Forgotten Beast Art Contest" meant an art contest about Forgotten Beasts, not an art contest about Beasts that's forgotten.

Where's all the activity?

All threads die some time or another, and this one's about to kick the bucket as well.

nuuuuuuuuu
We just need some good artists here. I don't frequent the areas where they roam free, but couldn't someone perhaps PM some of the better-known ones?

They know of it, DarkerDark made several entries.  I suppose they've either moved on or lost interest.  Such is art; you can't force it and have it be good as well.

What this thread needs is more art. Perhaps we can decide on a winner and move on to another Beast? I vote for Thorus's rendition, I think it better fits the "Spurthollow" name.
