I couldn't undestand how can you feed the magma plumbing like that, but then I noticed that there is a tunnel on +1z with full magma, meaning its either floored or drawbridged. Duh

Fully submerged pumps is great, at least for water, but how do you give power to it when pumping magma? Doesnīt the axels burn up?

Everything submerged, including the maintenance sections?

I would try this if I didnīt have an FPS problem. Dwarven magma-landmines are awesome.

<hipster>I built one of these before it was cool.  You probably haven't heard of it.</hipster>

Here's the link

It doesn't have the clever interior pump stack method of delivering the lava, but it does have a cool throne/control room suspended in the magma tube.  I recommend this for anyone who is draining their tube to build pumps in it.  That plus a minimap showing where the lava will come out just adds that special touch of detail to this sort of megaproject.

For the longest time I totally thought this said "Amiable" and avoided it. This is just as awesome as the first time I saw it, and now I may actually be able to build one. Thanks for the few-month-bump!
