There is final fantasy tactics: advance, final fantasy tactics, disgaea 1 and 2, phantom brave, makai kingdom. Don't know much about RTSes, since they didn't pop up until the 360 started doing it with command and conquer.

Chaoticcag has listed most of them, but there's also Final Fantasy Tactics:A2 for the GBA/DS (not sure), La Pucelle Tactics for PS2 (Released by NIS between Disgaea and Phantom Brave) in the TBS/TRPG category. Might also look at Soul Nomad, there's probably a few more. (Personally speaking, my SRPG/TBS preference is Disgaea>Final Fantasy Tactics (Any) > Phantom Brave > La Pucelle Tactics ??? Soul Nomad, as I've never played it)

Tactics Ogre for the GBA is pretty good, easy to break, and hard to find.

Front Mission 4 was a TBS for the PS2, along with Ring of Red. I liked ROR much more than FM4 but it's probably way easier to find FM4.  (Haven't played either of them enough to really weigh judgement)

Grim Grimoire for the PS2 is a RTS which is pretty good looking.

There are probably a few Fire Emblem games for the GBA, not too sure on that front. Plus the Advance Wars series.

There's one last pseudo RTS on those consoles I can think of, but good luck finding it: Team Buddies for PS1.

One of my favorite games is Front Mission 3 for the PS. It is way better than any other Front Mission game. It is a TBS RPG game.

Front Mission 5 is good but you need a modded PS2 since it was never translated to english, I believe there's a fan translation available.

I got an actual Ogre Battle 64 cart myself.  I even finished that ultra long game back in the day.
